AngioLife reports at ESVS Annual Meeting 2019
03 oct 2019
From September 24 to September 27, the annual international congress of the European Association of Vascular Surgeons - XXXIII ESVS Annual Meeting 2019 was held in Hamburg. The conference was held in one of the largest exhibition halls in Germany - Hamburg Messe Halls. More than 1400 participants from around the world, a huge number of scientific sessions, live discussion of reports and master classes of any complexity.
It is great that several reports were presented from Ukraine. The Ukrainian medical community certainly does not graze the back, every year we will be more and more loudly declare ourselves.
Our team presented two reports:
“EARLY VERSUS DEFERRED ENDOVENOUS SUPERFICIAL VENOUS TREATMENT IN PATIENTS WITH VARICOSE TROPHIC ULCERS”, reflecting the benefits of endovenous treatment of decompensated forms of varicose veins in the early stages.
"HYPERPIGMENTATION AFTER SCLEROTHERAPY MANAGEMENT", dedicated to the prevention of hyperpigmentation after scleroteria.
The reports aroused keen interest; these topics are constantly discussed in the community of phlebologists around the world. It was especially flattering to get an assessment not only from foreign colleagues, but also from leading experts in Kiev, Lviv, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk and Odessa.
Four days of intensive work: reviews and recent recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral atherosclerosis, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery pathology, surgery for venous diseases, as well as problems of venous thromboembolism and systemic thrombophilia.
Four wonderful days of vivid discussions, discussions, new knowledge and innovative ideas, communication with colleagues from different countries and from other continents.
See you in Krakow in 2020 at the 34th ESVS Annual Meeting!
