After removal of varicose veins, the load on healthy veins increases. Is this so?

After removal of varicose veins, the load on veins increases.

NO this is not so! Normally, 90-95% of venous blood flows through the deep veins, and up to 10% through the saphenous veins. When klappan insufficiency occurs in the saphenous veins, varicose veins develop. Varicose veins are non-functioning, “diseased” veins through which blood does not flow, but rather stagnates, which leads to their swelling and blood clots. After removal of varicose veins, the venous outflow normalizes (venous blood flows much better). Stagnant blood begins to "flow" through the "healthy veins" and patients feel much better already from the first hours after the operation, swelling, fatigue and heaviness in the legs disappear.
