Gubka Victor Alexandrovich MD

He graduated from Zaporizhzhya State Medical University in 1997. He completed an internship, master's degree in surgery, and then specialization in vascular surgery. In 2002 he graduated from graduate school with a successful defense of the Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Surgical treatment of chronic cerebral ischemia in patients with pathological tortuosity of the brachiocephalic arteries” at the A. A. A. National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology Shalimova »NAMS of Ukraine.

In May 2013, at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after N.N. Amosova, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine ”, Kiev, defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic“ A differentiated approach to the treatment of patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of the aorta, iliac arteries and arteries of the lower extremities ”, specialty 01/14/04 - cardiovascular surgery.

He constantly works in the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Clinical Hospital, where he performs the whole range of operations on the veins and arteries of the limbs.

He is the author of more than 100 scientific papers, co-author of national recommendations for the management and surgical treatment of patients with chronic venous pathology, acute venous thromboembolism.

He is fluent in minimally invasive techniques for operations on the veins of the lower extremities, open techniques for interventions on the aorta and arteries, has more than 20 years of experience in vascular surgery.

The main areas of work:

- endovenous treatment of varicose veins (EVLK, RFA, VenaBlock, VenaSeal, all types of sclerotherapy and thermocoagulation)

- open and minimally invasive operations on the main arteries of the limbs (all types of bypass surgery, artery plasty)

- operations on brachiocephalic arteries in chronic cerebral ischemia

- Cellular technologies (PRP + VEGF therapy) in the treatment of patients with chronic lower limb ischemia.
